LIVE 2 GIVE: Are You Ready To Transform Your Life?

Finally! The wait is over, the truth about sowing, reaping and prosperity!  However, I am allowing only 35 people to take a sneak peak and sign up before going public with the official launch which will take place in the Spring of 2016!

Read on, if you DARE....

My friend, can we talk? Seriously? Can we drop all the pretenses, unveil the masks, release the hype and re-write our paths to destiny that God already declared over us?

For once....just once I would like to connect and have a conversation with people who aren't afraid to tell the truth, but they are willing to hear the truth even more!

The TRUTH is...
  • it is better to give than to receive, but there is a circulation involved
  • churches are filled with those who  are in debt and struggling but is this what the Lord's wants
  • we are continuously seeking for a blessing but settling for crumbs instead of sitting at the table
  • we've been sold a "bill of lies" as it relates tithes, offering and prosperity in general

My Personal Story..

I realized that many Christians spend a lifetime seeking the opportunity to live in "Prosperity" However, they run from true prosperity and do not realize that the Bible (God's Word) tells us we should be prosper, meaning no lack.

I have been in Church since I was six years old and have heard several sermons on giving, tithing and prosperity. Not until this year was I even curious to discover for myself the real message in giving. I struggled with tithing until a few years ago, my Bishop sat me down for two months due to my disobedience to the Word. The whole time I wanted to call foul play. Until God stepped in on the scene to show me where I lacked in knowledge and understanding. As I reflect over my life, I realized that there were key principles that I used to govern the way I live my life but in giving, I had knowledge but no understanding. Therefore, I did not use wisdom and was caught in a vicious web I had weaved for myself and no matter how hard I twisted and turned, I was not getting out without help from God. Which brings to this year. I have experienced God's grace in giving but again it was hit and miss and I was struggling still. I felt that the tithing principles did not truly worked or I was missing a step. What God showed me was I was good a tithing but my heart was not cheerful. I was good at giving, but my attitude was not always right. I gave to needs that bought about more need into my own life. I had knowledge but did not always apply it correctly. What helped me was my  application of His Word through faith. Principles guide every aspect of our life & there were key principles that assisted me in attracting an understanding about tithing, offering, giving to the poor, emotional giving and YES prosperity. What i have found out all stems from the Word of God and, believe it or not, is taught in financial courses in universities across the nation.

So if you are ready to experience all the wisdom of the Bible, gain more knowledge about how God views giving, and attract wealth within the next year...then this program is for you!

If you are ready to release debilitating patterns and beliefs, shift from poverty to prosperity, release past hurts of old concepts, elevate your vibration, evolve into a magnetic being attracting all that God has stored up for you then sign up now. 21- Day Consecration: Obedience to God (Day 5)

The great thing about this 21 days of concentrated obedience is God is showing me, how much He loves and cares for me. How much He wants me to be more and more like Him. It is also showing me how far I have to go to be want He created me to be. I am finding that I am willing to stay on course and see the final goal. It is not easy. No one likes to be told that they have character flaws or that what they think is OK, is absolutely wrong.

This journey has been a rude awakening for me. However, it is not something I did not know or a huge revelation but it is something that finally sinking into my head. Obedience is more than just a whim. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I need to be like Nike and "Just Do It" No ifs, ands or buts.

In my quiet time today, I reflected on this scripture 2 Timothy 4:3

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."

So what is the real lesson in all this, I cant say that after five days I know what the Lord will teach me through this process. However, I can say that He is removing the brass. He is pulling out all stops. He is preparing me to be His good and faithful servant. What I do know is that I want to pass the test at the end, so I am taking notes. I am listening to what He is saying intently. This means that through those that are being placed in my path, whether they say good, bad or indifferent things, I am taking it all into consideration. I am learning to hear His voice through the loud noises. I am becoming more clear and direct with his instructions.

I thank God for those that are willing to speak the truth, even when it is not popular. Those that are willing to sacrifice for the Kingdom of God and not worry about what the masses think. Instead of bringing those around me that say only what I want to hear, I want to gravitate to those that will speak the truth in love. I want to be a vessel of honor and not dishonor. I want those that will see my flaws as areas of growth and pray me through the process. I want those who love me enough to say "Thus saith the Lord". No regrets, no holding back, no shame. Listen, I may get pushed out of shape a bit, I may even get a bit angry but in the end, If God said it, I believe it and that settles it. If I need to get right then so be it. If I need to continue on the path I am on then so be it. If things are not going to be as I thought, hoped, or dreamed...it's okay as long as God gets all the glory for this life. When it's all said and done, I want to hear Him say, Well done, thy good and faithful servant. I want Him to say, "You did everything I asked you to do when I asked you to do it."

The Bible says,

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:31-36
The truth will make you free and the truth only comes from the God. So let it wash over you. Be free to hear what the Spirit is saying. Then you too can say:

He that the Son has set free
is free indeed
No more chains of slavery
Truth has triumphed in liberty
He that the Son has set free is free indeed.

And the journey continues...

Wise Words

What is the strongest muscle in the human body? Some say it's the tongue, but it's hard to determine which muscle is the most powerful because muscles don't work alone.

But we do know that the tongue is strong. For a small muscle, it can do a lot of damage. this active little muscular organ that helps us eat, swallow, taste, and begin digestion has tendency to also assist us in saying things we shouldn't. the tongue is guilty of flattery, cursing, lying, boasting, and harming others. And that's just the short list.

It sounds like a pretty dangerous muscle, doesn't it? But here's the good thing: it doesn't have to be that way. When we are controlled by the Holy Spirit, our tongues can be turned to great good. we can speak of God's righteousness and justice. We can speak the truth, show love, and confess sin.

The writer of Proverbs 12:18 spells out one of the best uses for the tongue:
"The tongue of the wise brings healing."
Imagine how we could glorify the one who made our tongues when He helps us use it to bring healing --not harm-- to everyone we interact with. How different would our relationships with each other be?

Where is Your Focus

Most people struggle with insecurity. While some struggle more than others, there has probably been at least one time in your life where you felt like you didn't measure up, you weren't good enough, or didn't have what it takes. Maybe you've felt that in your job, in your school, with your parents, in your marriage, or with your own children. Our insecurities stem from the fact that so many of us are focused on outward things and the way others approve or disprove of us. Beginning today, you are going to learn to have an altar ego by acknowledging this one simple truth: without Christ, there is something wrong with you. If you are not inwardly focused on Christ and instead more focused on how others perceive you, then you will continue to struggle with your insecurity. Where is your focus? What insecurities do you struggle with most?

Stop Having A Fit

Many times we have triggers inside of us but why are they there. What was the original hurt? Was it real or perceived? What was left unlearned because we chose not to deal with it? So everything else is weighed against it and never in balance because there is really no way of recalibrating the scale. The truth is it was never calibrated right in the first place. There has to be a point where you destroy the root of the problem. You must confront the very thing that initiates your spiral into the pit of anger. That leaves you in a fit of rage, anger and confusion. You must be willing to expose the whole truth and nothing but the truth to allow the lessons to be learned and more importantly lived.

Life is not going to hand you a solution to all your problems; however every solution you need is racing to get to you. The real problem is our ability to see past the problem. When we start to remove the layers of film on our eyes we will be able to see a true reflection of what occurred and how to fix the situation.

We throw fits because we are not willing to hear, trust and learn. We are so busy wanting it right now that we miss the eternal applications that will keep our hearts and minds in perfect peace.

We blame God, others, loss of jobs, houses, cars, mates and what have you so we don’t look at the real problem. It is simple…the “me” problem; the understanding that I am my worst enemy. It’s because of how I interpret things that have occurred that I am in this situation. It’s me not anyone else. Sure they hurt you, they lied, they talked about you, they left you, they cheated…and that almost killed you –mentally, emotionally, socially, financially and spiritually. Yes they did all that. However, no one has power over your decisions but you. And you have to give that power away. It is your fault not theirs. I know that reality hurts, OUCH! It hurt me to say it and I am sure it hurts to read it. So now that the band aid is off let’s fix the problem instead of having a fit.

It starts with you taking the power back and putting ownership where it belongs. Do this for me, take a minute to stand in front of the nearest mirror and say, “Today I will no longer pass the buck. The buck stops here. My worst enemy has become my best friend.” Then smile as big as you can. The next thing you are going to do as a project is simply get dressed up. I mean go all out and dress for success and take a picture.  For the moment you are taking the picture nothing else matters. Think of a time you felt totally free from anger, worry, frustration, strife and hatred… YES that moment. Bask in that moment and smile for the camera. Take a few shots with different poses even do an outfit change, if you like. Make it a real photo shoot opportunity. Now every time you see those pictures I want you to think this is my best friend.

Nope, not finished yet, remember we are fixing the problem not just placing another band aid on it. Now it’s time to get serious about your healing. Get a Journal. You don’t journal superficial things like what you ate today or what the events of the day were. No, this journal is to take a long good look at you. Therefore journal how you feel, journal your heart, journal your thoughts, journal your raw emotions and let it flow. Today you may feel like pulling your hair out because of what John said reminded you of your past relationship with Steve, journal it. Tomorrow you can be on top of the world because you realized that you just got that promotion you been wanting, Journal it. You had a breakthrough during early Morning prayer, journal it.

When you journal, you start to see that problems become clearer. Just as amazing, is the solution will leap at you from the pages of your journal. You will start to see patterns. Your answers to many of the questions that you have will be hidden in the midst of the text. With each dilemma there is a lesson to be learned, every storm has a warning of dark clouds but it’s always followed by sunshine and a rainbow. Dancing is a great distraction as well as a happy feeling. Laughing is the best medicine for the heart that is broken.

Journals will save your life – well, at least help it make sense in the here and now. Now that you are thinking about it, start a journal today. Don’t just write in the journal but take a few minutes to read and reflect on what was written. See what treasurers are inside of you. Treasures you never knew where there because you were too busy having a fit.

Guest Blogger: Saying No Requires A Greater Yes!

Tony Blair, former British prime minister, once said, “The art of leadership is saying no, not yes. It is very easy to say yes.”

God has commanded us to live separate from the world’s values, and that means we have to learn how to say no. But let’s be honest: saying no to the world is not easy. The world system is seductive and alluring.

Here is the key to victory: saying no requires a higher yes. Saying yes to an intimate relationship with my heavenly Father, helps me to say no to anything that could damage that relationship.

Daniel serves as a great example of this truth. By chapter 6, Daniel was one of the top political leaders in the entire kingdom of Babylon. This caused jealousy among other political leaders, and they began to look for a way to discredit Daniel.

There was just one problem. They couldn’t dig up any dirt on Daniel. So these political adversaries devised a plot to bring him down. They knew the one thing Daniel wouldn’t compromise was his relationship with God.

They got the king to sign an edict that for thirty days people could only pray to the king. Interestingly, Daniel’s enemies were absolutely right: Daniel wasn’t about to compromise his cherished prayer times with his heavenly Father. When Daniel heard about the new law he went home and prayed with his window open towards Jerusalem.

Daniel’s obedience to God meant disobedience to the king and landed him in the lions’ den. Even though he spent the entire night surrounded by lions, he was not harmed. At the first light of dawn, the king rushed to the lions’ den to see if, by some miracle, Daniel’s God had rescued him.

Notice Daniel’s words. He said, “My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions” (Daniel 6:21). Daniel didn’t say, “The great creator God has spared me.” No, his response is far more personal. “My God, the God I spend time with every day, has rescued me.” His deep communion with God led to deep conviction about God, which resulted in deep courage for God.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

What distractions or temptations from the world keep you from a more intimate relationship with God?

Today’s Takeaway
Saying no to the world is connected to your desire to say yes to God.
